On the flight down we had Paul, Pat, Patty, Marcie, Kelly & Sylvia. On Wednesday, Celeste & Santi joined us...on Thursday, Aunt Tina, Aunt Michelle, Debbie, Derek & Shana joined...on Friday, Uncle Fonce, Aunt Niki and cousin Alissa made it ... and finally on Saturday, we had Clare & Elena fly in. Whew. So at one point we had 20 friends and family!
We had a wonderful 10 days highlighted by lots of pool time, lots of pina colodas...and most importantly lots of wonderful conversation. There was a "party" held in Denni's honor on Saturday, March 22nd including a live salsa band, salsa lessons and thereafter, lots of salsa dancing. Mariana Salis, the wife of our property manager, Alejandro Rodriquez, pulled together the food, drink and dancing for Denni's party. She did a GREAT job.
We also had an opportunity to go on a couple of Alejandro's tours. First, Denni and I joined him on a hike in the Sierra Madre to a swimming hole. The next day, we did a kayak trip with him. We really enjoyed ourselves...Ale is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. We are extremely lucky to have him and Mariana in our lives!
